We supply genuine Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki and Tohatsu four-stroke outboard motors to boat owners across Victoria and Australia. All engines are sourced through authorised supply channels and covered by the manufacturer's standard Australian warranty.
From lightweight portables for tenders and tinnies, to high-output motors for offshore and centre console fishing boats.
The 9.9HP class is one of the most popular outboard sizes in Australia — used as a primary motor on tinnies, a kicker on larger boats, and a primary on 3–4m aluminium dinghies.

Whether you're buying online or visiting our South Melbourne store, here's what to expect.
We freight outboard motors to all Australian states and territories. Two simple tiers — no calculated rates, no postcode surcharges on standard orders.
Metro VIC, NSW, QLD and SA are generally at the faster end of this range. WA, NT, TAS and remote or regional postcodes may take longer. Orders placed before 12:00PM AEST on a business day are typically processed for dispatch the same day, subject to payment clearance. A tracking number is sent by email once your order has been dispatched.
Select "Pick Up In Store" at checkout. We'll prepare your motor and contact you by email when it's ready. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID when collecting. Free on-site parking available.
Where possible, motors are freighted in original manufacturer packaging engineered to protect the engine during transport. Each motor is visually inspected before dispatch. We use freight carriers with experience handling marine and engine equipment — not general parcel handlers.
Inspect on delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery docket before signing. If you find concealed damage after unpacking, contact us promptly at info@waveengines.com.au with your order number and photos. Do not operate the motor if you suspect transit damage. We manage the freight claim with the carrier on your behalf.
